Weebles - ages 3-4
This 45 minutes class teaches basic ballet and tap skills. This class is a fun
creative environment that helps stimulate musicality, rhythm, coordination and a
genuine love for the art of dance.
Minis – ages 5-6
A pre-ballet, tap, jazz & hip hop program that is designed to further introduce
young children to basic dance skills. This program consists of a 45 minute Ballet
and tap combination class and is preceded or followed by a half hour jazz and/or
hip hop class.
Rock stars - ages 7-9
This program is an introduction to technical training. Each class is offered
separately. Ballet is required if a student wants to take tap or jazz. Ballet classes
are a minimum of 45 minutes, preceded or followed by 45 minutes of tap, jazz
and/or hip-hop.
Basic or Level 1 - Juniors 10-12 yrs/Teens 13+ yrs
This program allows students to continue learning their basic skills. They are
expected to master these skills before moving onto the next level. These
individual ballet, jazz, tap, and hip-hop classes are an hour long. Students
interested in jazz are encouraged to take ballet as well. (For example they would
take a ballet class preceded or followed by a jazz class.) Tap and hip-hop classes
can be taken alone. Skills taught at this level would include body placement, strong
feet and legs and basic turn technique. Tap would include basic tap skills.
Level 2 & 3 - Juniors 10-12 yrs/Teens 13+ yrs
This program is for the student who has mastered the beginning skills. These
classes will work the dancers at a more mature level. At this level, dancers are
required to take a ballet class in order to take jazz. Placement in these classes is
based on individual levels more than age. Placement in these classes requires
teacher and director approval.
Hip-Hop
These are open to dancers ages 7 and up. Levels 1, 2 and 3 are offered for both
Juniors and Teens. Placement in Levels 2 & 3 classes requires teacher and
director approval.
